"The one-year pilot program will be offered during the 2008-09 academic year in five residences: Narnia and Terra (Row houses), Castaño (an upper-class residence hall), Mirrielees (an undergraduate apartment complex) and Rains (a graduate student apartment building)."

So is this the exact opposite of co-ed housing then?

Stanford, or 'the farm' as they call it, is one of the most lush places with more money dumped per square foot than just about any other place on the planet.    Those are very smart, and fairly rich, kids there - I'm sure they will sort it out.
