Hello , i was wondering if anyone stil got surgery at dr suporn in thailand, and if he is still ok

He is my number 1 choice for SRS and I'm booked in with him. Getting a date is really difficult at the moment as he trains up his new Suporn Team and hands over some of the reign of doing the surgeries.

I saw a recent photo of his new surgeons work, and it was exactly the same as Suporn, and a really good result as well.

Can I ask for some info regarding Suporn's requirements for referrals as he states he needs to have 'original' letters from clinicians referring for GRS. So the letters I received are copies to be precised as originals from GIC in London went to my GP. I doubt that the GP surgery would 'borrow' me those for the time in Thailand as my surgery is coming in May. Can the letters sent to me which are copies be given by hand to Suporn? I sent them scans and they all were fine but not sure about giving same in person..

If you contact the clinic where you obtained the original letter and explain you're scheduled for GRS next month and need one for Dr. Supporn, I think they will be able to provide it. 

I'd get the original to avoid the risk of getting your surgery cancelled.

There's also an online therapist, dr Graeme Peveller who writes letters for Suporn, but it's a bit late to be starting that.

I would email the Suporn clinic and ask if it will be necessary to get the originals.

You might also try asking your physician for them to fill out a second original. I had the psychologist I saw make multiple copied and brought those with me.

I went to Suporn last June. I'm VERY happy with my results and the amount of care that went into my visit.

I want to. I have until the end of 2019, I believe. I just got FMLA paperwork in for VFS through Yeson. My plan is to do that first (hopefully, very soon) and then try to get in for my revision in 2019.

With Suporn, he doesn't form the anterior or posterior commissure until the revision. I've heard it's because you won't be able to dilate effectively, which is why you have to wait until you've healed for a year. The results thus far have been amazing, between depth, sensation, and how it looks. I can only imagine how much more wonderful it'll be after.

I hear the wait list for revisions is around a year now. It seems to have increased a lot recently.

You're guaranteed a spot for revision though I'm pretty sure. It just has to be within 18 months of your surgery or something.

Hopefully it's not required that it be within 18 months. They won't even do it until after the 1 year mark bc you have to be able to go without dilating for a bit.

So even after he retires in 2019, revisions are still performed? By himself or his team? If the waiting time for revisions is 1 year maybe it is advisory to book it straight after surgery while I am there.. lol 

Good idea but Dr Suporn does not accept any requests for revision until the client is at least nine months postoperative. That's because that's the minimum time needed before the full overall cosmetic appearance is known.

I have booked my srs surgery for 2nd of April 2019, however I am forced to postpone it. Would anybody like to exchange the date (you have your surgery faster on 2nd April, i  am interested in all the dates in late May, June of early July).

I am looking forward to all the answers.

Have you asked on the secret Facebook group? I heard that's quite active.
