Hello everyone

My name is Abigail Marie and I am new here.  I am 43 and mtf.

I have been through quite a bit to arrive where I am today.
Where to begin?  Well... I experienced dysphoria to the point of bleeding ulcers that put me in the icu for 6 days, 2 years ago...requiring five blood transfusions.   I experienced migraine headaches nearly every day in some form since the third grade    this led into depression that has lasted my entire life causing high blood pressure and anxiety.

All of this began healing as soon as I started HRT in June of this past year.  I now no longer  get headaches and my depression has been replaced  by happiness and hope for the future.

Life it seems does not always go how we like.  Because of my transitioning, my wife of 23 years decided to divorce me despite a pretty happy relationship up to that point.  While this was devastating, I am still happier than I have ever been and regret absolutely nothing except not transitioning  sooner.
I look forward to every day now and can actually stand to see myself in a mirror.  My life has meaning finally and while life is never perfect...  i feel like it's worth living. :)

On a side note... I had full facial feminization with Dr zukowski in December  .  If anyone is interested in hearing about that, then please let me know and I will put something up here.

Well it's nice to meet everone!!!

Hugs and kisses

Abbi,

    Welcome!   :)

Chrissy
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS
