So I wrote a post earlier about this but it was removed. I can kinda guess why so I'll filter some stuff out so hopefully it stays. If not the admins can pm me so I know what exactly I previously wrote which is an issue and I'm not 100% clear yet?

I used to have quite a decent dating time on a dating site from 2015-2017 where even when I mentioned on my profile that I am a trans woman, I've never experienced any banning. But as of 2018, my profile has been banned several times, even after the trans inclusive categories were added. The problem here is:

1) Transphobic people will report you just because they swipe and do not read your profile first

2) The option to place your gender in your profile only appears in some countries, not all. Ive used the app in Australia and around the EU and realized not all countries when creating your profile has that option if you created it while location set to those countries.  The only work around is creatng a profile from the website or on your PC.

3) The last problem is not everyone can see the gender displayed. What this means is some users it is visible to whilst others it isnt. Ive tested this with my other phone using a different account which matched to my main one.

Anyway, the new way this dating site has been flagging our profiles is by secretly disabling our profiles without us realizing. No longer will it say you have been banned for so and so reason. Instead the profile will disappear from your match's phone and you will disappear off the search. All the while everything on my phone would look normal. I realized this has been happening because I'm a tinder gold user and after this occurs, guys who swiped me first and i swiped right on them too, would not show up on my matches. Also guys who i've matched with previously and gave them my snapchat would say "why did you delete me" when I didnt.  They were still visible on my profile but I wasn't on theirs. My messages were just not going through. This has happened more than 10 times since I kept testing.

I'm quite disheartened by this as dating as a trans person feels like it became harder and not progessively easier. Thoughts anyone?

I'm just going to say.....It sucks, cause anything further would not be good.  My self filter isn't working so good.
