Hey, I'm really stressed out and stuck with gamete storage. I'm due to start HRT legit this week or next week and I've still not frozen my sperm. At this point im really scared to say to GenderGP that I've failed to store my sperm (Because I thought I would have had everything done by now).

I'd normally be so happy to finally start HRT but I've never been more scared because of this issue. I'm starting to lack funds with only - 500 pounds left to go towards Gamete storing.

What do I do? I'm seeing my GP on friday But i'm 100% sure he will put me on a waiting list and If I say to GenderGP they will stop the HRT process until everything is done (This could legit take 2-6 months) Is there any private gamete clincs I could phone from the uk that meets my budget? I've tried for over a month and I'm really stuck

I'm pretty sure the only concern they have is making sure you understand that HRT may leave you sterile. Sperm banking isn't a required part of transition.

I don't have any information on storage facilities, but £500 sounds like a very low number.

Assuming this in the UK, your best bet is to contact any private fertility clinic (plenty in Google), they'll provide this service and can give you costs.

I just decided to put my emotions aside and just tell them about my situation. Although It'll delay everything
I'm glad I don't have that fear of not being able to have biological children. probs one of the best things i've done since December
