I haven't posted much lately and I don't find much comfort in what I read. My husband has cancer and even though the oncologist says the outlook is good he seems to be getting worse. We're both looking at the possiblity he won't be around much longer. I'm not sure if I can cope with it. We're getting through it one day at a time right now. I'm not sure if I can stand it if I lose him. Nothing has ever hurt so much as watching him get worse and there is nothing I can do to help.

sorry, sweetie.
please keep in mind that illnesses of that sort can sometimes go on much longer than you'd think.
so please share and enjoy each other daily and focus on the fact that he is there. we are all mortal, after all.

Hi KarenLyn. I just finished saying a prayer for your husband and for you. Just trust him during this difficult time.

Thanks everyone for your support. Andi hasn't shown any improvement, in fact, he's developed breathing problems now too. We're hanging in there. He's seen a pulmonologist and there's no indication for his breathing problems so it's probably tied to the cancer. If the chemo works it should clear up. We're keeping our fingers crossed.
