I am a very new moderator on a fairly new forum for GLBT community, and in fact one of  the owners of the forum is here also.

She recommended this site to us.I admit to not knowing very much outside my own sphere and hope it will be alright for me to learn here and also hopefully be off some support.

It can be hard finding a forum that will allow you to be a survivor of abuse, whilst at the same time admitting that you are gay.I have been stifled in this on other forums, never fulling admitting that side of me.We hope that our new forum will fill a need.


I have a partner who I hope to be with very soon, at present she is many miles away from me.This is new for me, having for many years tried to be "normal" and failing, before accepting, and allowing myself to be me-and be happy.

my ptr ives in the US, I'm in the UK, but hopefully we shall soon be together.

Hopefully, you won't be living midway between the UK and the U.S.
