Family groups urge parents to leave gay-friendly public schools

"New California laws will eventually demand that all public school activities and instruction be positive in their portrayal of transexuality, bisexuality and homosexuality, even when teaching children in kindergarten. Randy Thomasson, chief of the Campaign for Children and Families, is spearheading a drive to get 600,000 children to withdraw from the state's public schools."

Yeah, can't have them learning to be to tolerant and accepting in a place as narrow as the Golden State, after all, where are they really ever going to be meeting people or having to work with people, of a different background, culture, language, race, color, creed sexuality, gender and different taste in movies and music in California?  What a waste.

demand that all public school activities and instruction be positive Think of it, pretty soon they are going to be wanting all of life to be positive, how in the hell do you sell sulfur and brimbstone in such an atmosphere?  Really.  These kids are getting up in the morning in California, its 73 degrees, the sun is shining, the beach is calling cause its going to be over 80 later, and your having Fruit Loops out on the deck looking over the valley and you want them to be positive?  What ever happened to 'another ->-bleeped-<-ty day in paradise"? 

      If they yank that many kids out of school, then the school would be able to afford to give the remaining children really good educations.  They'd have extra teachers, smaller classes.  They could afford brand new books that don't have creationism in them because they'll be buying less books.

I'm just wondering where they have a half million surplus school places, or are they just going to let Ma and Pa do that homeskool larnin' thing?

Seriously, what DO these people think transsexuality is all about? I get that we "choose" to defy our birth sex for dark, sordid and troubled reasons. But what do they think we DO as transsexuals? Are we all out meeting in parks to have sex with other transsexuals or something?
