Is it possible or impossible to be MTF and with Aspergers? I have Aspergers, a "male" condition, but I want a female body.
Both female and male can have Asperger's Syndrome or autism. It doesn't matter if you're trans or cis.
But here is my theory. Since transsexualism/trans is a bit rare, it's not so common for transgenders to be born both trans and autistic or Asperger's. It's off course possible, but not the most common cases. My theory is that people often being
fail diagnosed by the professional. (doctors etc.) According to my though it's very normal to be fail diagnosed because some people doesn't discovering they are trans before later. When the doctors research the patient before she or he know the trans thing, the doctor can discovering difference traits that the A4-society wouldn't expect by a "regular person". Then it's easier for a doctor to give the wrong diagnose.
The major reasons they get a wrong diagnose:* Not discovered being transgender yet
* Doctors discovering difference personality traits that isn't normal according to them
* Transgenders and the diagnose may share some of the same traits (Anyway, the society may believe it)
* The society's view at things
By the way, I got the diagnose Asperger's syndrome too. But I doesn't believe at the doctors. I think they gave me the wrong diagnose and all the problems were caused by something else. A stupid society maybe... that's before I discovered I'm FTM.
