And that's pretty much how it started for me. Born as a female, always lamenting that I wasn't born male. Never fitting in with the girls and never allowed to do boy things.
I used my imagination to create an alter ego.....ghost author stories so to speak....if I was a guy, I'd be like this. Lol.
For decades there wasn't really a way for me to be a male, so I resigned myself to being a 'butch' presenting female as the closest I could do. I moved towards male dominated careers to have an outlet and tolerance towards my 'too strong' presence.
Them, one day, I realized - the world is different now - and it actually is possible to become the man I always felt I was.
So here I am, learning what that means - and how to change decades of ingrained thinking of what male and female mean.

Welcome Marc

Glad to see many more guys signing up and becoming active here. (But, trust me, the girls are great!)

Sounds like we have similar paths. I've dressed exclusively in male/male appearing clothes most of my life. Worked in an industry that was male dominated. I just passed 10 months on T and am, not so patiently, waiting for authorization for top surgery.

See you around the site.
