I'm not sure if this is the best place for this, if not please move it.

I've had this weird thing begin happening this month.  I feel really odd asking. 


My nipples constantly feel like they're wet, but when I check, they're dry.  I was thinking about a breast pump to assist in breast growth, but I haven't purchased one yet, so it can't be that. 

What makes that feeling?  Is it something I should worry about?  Is it normal?

The only way a breast pump is going to help you is if you are able to lactate. If you are capable of lactating then the glands inside your breast will fill with milk. this will cause your breast tissue to expand and accommodate the fluid inside the glands. If you are not able to lactate then any sizing benefit from using a breast pump will more than likely small. I have read that nipple stimulation can increase prolactin secretion. However this has been studied mainly in pregnant women. As for any sort of benefit for us since we are not pregnant I do not know if enough or a lot of prolactin is secreted. Also for breast lactation it is best to stimulate for short periods of time such as 10 minutes every 2 hours. more often is better for breast milk stimulation. If you only pump for long periods of time but only once or twice a day I do not believe you will get much benefit when compared with the ideal 10 minutes every 2 hours pump method. as for the sensation of wet nipples I am not sure what to tell you. However if you began HRT or had a dosage or medicine change then some degree of change could be due to that. I say give the pump a try but Shorter and more often is best with a pump. Mainly I'd say more often as in every 2 hours.
