This looks like fun!   So I will join the "senior" swimsuit section!
By the way, I am 71 years old.    I don't believe it either!
Which do you like the best?

Purple!

Oh, I didn't realize that we're into the swimsuit part of the pageant! The first one is in the dressing room as I tried on my first one, and the second is me and my sweetie on my very first time wearing it on the beach.

I'm not quite as far along as you are Dorit (and you are rockin' it!), but I never thought I'd look like this at 60!

See what you've done, Ashley? Once you pop you can't stop!

Hey Tribble!!!

Quite the journey and backstory!!! It is one that I would imagine would give you even greater insight, understanding and appreciation of what it truly means to you to live your life in the manner you choose!!! 🌺

I have no doubt you will find the life you seek little sister!!!

Onward we go brave sister!!!

Ashley 🙋‍♀️💕🌻

Gracias, Ashley!

The last few months and especially the last week or so have been very eye-opening for me.  Being able to begin HRT again has cleared a lot up for me, coupled with all of the male-fails I've been having.

I've also come to realize that my activities and hobbies do not define my identity.  I'm good with that now. :)
2003-2004 -- Gradual transition -- I didn't correct pronouns and people basically settled on the right ones on their own.
late 2004 -- Orchiectomy.
Late 2015 -- Stupidly saw the political climate and spurned on by my husband's request for a divorce I detransitioned.
2019 -- Rebuilding my wardrobe so I can retransition.  Turns out I cain't bury my true self, after all.  I call these last few years my failed experiment.  At least I found my true feelings were real.

Ooh!  I can't wait to feel comfortable going to a pool or beach again.  I haven't been in the water for decades even though I always loved playing around in the water.  Not to mention that I was a champion diver in my early years.

You look great, ladies!

@Dorit ... in answer to your question... they are all gorgeous but, my favorite is the basic black because, I think it gives your beautiful hair color the most POP!!!! 🤗

No haste, girls. It is too early to wear bikini here and in most of the northern hemisphere areas.

I purchased and wore the red dress for summer about 15 years ago when I was in the U.S., and after moving to S. Korea, I lost it. I suspect it may still be hidden in a box in the storage, but I have not yet tried to search. If it is still available in any online store, I wish to order again.

At that time, my weight was 65 kg (143 lbs), and is 71 kg (157 lbs) now. Usually my weight is greatest in spring and least in fall. To wear bikini in summer, my goal is to lose 6 kg.

As it becomes warmer, I tried a red dress for spring I purchased a few months ago.

Cheers!

With your facial structure, you have amazing potential!

I am always impressed by what can be achieved by determined transitioners.  Naysayers be damned, those of us on a transition path can achieve amazing, fabulous results.

Thank you. :)

I'm afraid hormones have done all they can and anything further will need to be surgical.

I do fly under most people's radars, though.  I can be happy about that.

I even attended a funeral for a close friend's father in a small town in the deep South and no one stared or said anything.

Well, the only person to stare a bit was the woman we were staying with.  Her husband never noticed.  He was friends with my friend.

5000 people in one hot tub is a lot of people. I'd be nervous too!  :P

You'll do fine, natalie! Speaking in front of 10,000 people still wouldn't be as harrowing as going through a public gender transition. LOL. Head back, shoulders down, tits up, girl!

Thank you, and lol that was a grammatical mistake there better not be 5000 people in the hot tub, I better get my speech triple reviewed I am so bad for that.

@tgirlamg Thank you :) you always look great yourself.   I have to speak on staffing in Long term care nursing home how many minutes my nursing homes have per resident for care per day and the lower pay scale that we are at and how Long term care needs more funding for the residents and not cut backs as I got notice that the government here is cutting funding :(

@Dorit ok there is no way you are 71 I need to see ID to believe that I give you like 50s you look amazing

Dear Tonya:
I love your dress and the way you put your hair "up" in your first picture....
... regarding your 2nd picture... I also like your hair and dress, but where is your smile? ???

Thank you for sharing your photos.
Hugs,
Danielle

Thanks.

Ok it's not quite a smile but it's not that bad is it? Not a frown or grumpy.

I do like that dress, it's a good look for you.
Thanks. Seems to be a color combo that works for me.

I got that dress for $5 on clearance about 2 years ago. Finally felt like I could wear it.

Thanks, ladies for cheering comments.
I searched that t-shirt dress in the storage, but could not find. My wife says she saw it somewhere at home recently.

I opened my archived ancient e-mails to figure out where I ordered it, and I confirmed again that I am good at data archiving.

An e-mail message from Amazon.com:

QuoteDate:                16-August-2005

Amazon Order #:      058-5987418-1815544

1 of aap2386 Fine Jersey Sleeveless T-Shirt Dress, Red, Small, [$8.99]

Shipping & Handling:    [$5.94]

Tax:                    [$0.75]
Total:                  [$15.68]

In the internet, I found a similar item at ebay.com.au, but I am not quite sure they will deliver it to my country.

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Sleeveless-Boatneck-Fine-Jersey-Sheath-Day-Party-Cocktail-Dresses-Blue/191322543762

Hopefully, my wife will find it before the summer.
