Hi all,
Last week I was interviewed for a podcast about people who, regardless of the 'dangers' involved, went forward with their life. The interviewer is a life coach and is very positive and does a great job.
Please give a listen. This one interview helped my ex-wife to open up to me with her true feelings about all of this for the first time (3+ years) and actually, in her way, apologized for not taking the time to understand it all.

If you listen, I would be interested in your feedback.
Nicely done as always, Denise. I don't know if I could be as eloquent in a situation like that. I thought for a minute that you seemed so comfortable because the interviewer was a friend of yours, but then I remembered the earlier interview you'd done with someone else. You just have a talent for public speaking.
In the times we've gotten together I never really talked about my experiences before and during transition. You'd mentioned before that you'd never felt like "a woman trapped in a man's body." I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around that. To me that feeling is the essence of dysphoria. It definitely proves that you're right, though: everyone is different.
Thank you for putting yourself out there as an advocate for us all. Make sure to text me next time you get down here, and if nothing else, we'll see you in August!
Stephanie
