Hi all,

I have my first check up this week and as I am paying by the 30 mins I was wondering, what I'm likely to get asked and should I be asking anything specific.
I never saw my first blood tests but have seen last week's and as far as I can tell t is low number and e is high which I think is what aiming for
Also think c cholesterol is still high but hope has come down

Thanks
Carla

Carla,

It's important that you know your blood test numbers.  Work with your Doctor so you are both on the same page. In general, you are correct...low T and high E...:)

Hello Carla

I note from other posts that you are based in UK (I assume in the SW as you refer to Exeter GIC) but have been working in Holland for 14 months and have decided to go private as very wisely you do not wish to wait probably till 2022 for an appointment under British NHS which is sadly underfunded .

I am from the NW of UK and also decided to go private with GenderGP for therapy and HRT and also they are able to provide contacts for subsequent surgery. I just thought you may wish to consider transferring to GenderGP as they are considerably cheaper than your present private service. There are several GenderGP threads on Susans for further information and Members' comments.

Wishing you every happiness on your transition.

Hugs

Hi Pamela,

it was the ease and cost of travel from Eindhoven to Edinburgh hat made YourGP a better choice.
