Hello everyone,

My name is Cathryn; she/her pronouns, please & thank you. I've been a reader on Susan's for a while now. I started my journey almost two years ago, and have been on HRT for almost six months now.

A little about myself...

I'm in my early thirties and married with three cats. I'm an engineer for the best consulting company in the world. I recently started working with an HR rep on my career gender transition plan. Only a handful of people at work know that I'm transgender (one being my manager), but even that small amount of visibility has helped with the dysphoria a lot!

I'm a self proclaimed Spotify-junky, I'll listen to about anything (except most country) and spend too much time making playlists. Currently, I'm hung up on Billie Eilish's new album.

As far as hobbies go, I play a few video games, right now. I'm bouncing between three: Overwatch, Kingdom Hearts 3, and Skyrim. I'm trying to get back into Magic The Gathering, but I'm still a filthy casual. D&D is fun too, but I almost always end up DMing... *cough* ... [emoji851]

I play electric guitar & bass, but not nearly as much as my heart wants me too. I stay fit(ish) by walking everywhere and doing yoga. I facking love yoga! [emoji171]

Hi Cathryn!

I'm a bit older than you but it looks like we share a lot of the same interests. I play a lot of overwatch on ps4. I used to play KH and Skyrim... I want to play KH3, but it's so hard not to play overwatch haha. I don't know why I buy games anymore. I've played guitar for 25 years off and on and I like to run with a little yoga sprinkled in.

I also play guitar and bass, and want to do more of it, once I'm done with my day job. Walking is such good therapy for the body, yoga too !!

I played way too much Skyrim, and beat KH3 in about a day. RPGs are soooo my jam.

Hello,

Skyrim and D&D are some of my favorites.  Been playing D&D for about 40 years or more.   Also a big fan of fallout 3 and new Vegas.  I'm glad your employer is so accommodating... That is awesome to hear.  I have not spoken with mine yet and it scares the heck out of me as they are mostly good ole' boys.... They value weight lifting, shooting and mudding.   That's what I get for working in manufacturing in the south, lol. Good luck to you!
