Yesterday was the first time I had gone to my major client since I started full time work fem. So I would be meeting many that had only seen me as male. Surprisingly I was actually looking forward to it as I have huge confidence at the moment with all the acceptance elsewhere.

I was late arriving, accident on the M4 (again) so initially just met the tech director who was the first I told I was trans and has supported me throughout. He commented at the end of the meeting that I was looking good. The it guy came in during the meeting and got from him Hi Jessica, then it was down to the reception to grab a coffee before leaving and chatted with the receptionist. She knew as everyone there that I was wearing a wig after all this is a place that has known me for years and she asked is that real hair? Can I feel it? It looks so real.

I left so happy. It is wonderful being me at last

Very nice !! Indeed working as yourself is such an empowering feeling. The feed back I receive at work on a routine basis is quite validating and makes it so worth it ! I wish you continued success at your place of business....

Best

Dear Jessica:
Thank you for sharing your positive, uplifting, and affirming report about being "out" on your job.
Yes indeed, being "yourself" at work, and everywhere that you go, is such a big confidence booster and feels to liberating.

Again, thank you for sharing with all of us.
Hugs and best wishes as always,
Danielle
