I recently came out to myself, and my wife. I am in a very confused place. I have an interview with a gender therapist tomorrow. I guess my question is, is there anyway to tell if I am making the right choice to go forward from MTF. I just want to make absolutely sure before I move forward..

You are on the right track by seeking out therapy.  They may help you find the answers, but it takes personal reflection.

Only you can answer that question.  But the answer is in there.  You just have to work at finding it. 
You aren't ever going to be absolutely sure.  In the end you just have to decide if this is what you need.


My advice:   Trust your gut.  Do what you know.

Hi.  I went through a simlrar sequench in February.  Out to my wife first, then therapist. I wasn't sure what I would do, but was sure I am trans.   Much to learn, but my wife has been amazing. Supportive and loving.  We go to therapy together.   I started HRT a month ago.  You have taken two wise steps.  Both move forward toward an answer to your question.  Good luck.  All will be well!
