Most of the time I go out in androgynous mode. Sometimes I wear my women's tennis shoes, othertimes, I wear some male dress shoes that go well with my jeans. People don't really treat me one way or the other, which definitely beats being treated as male. The only thing that's truly stopping me from looking androgynous is the facial hair that I can never get light enough. Once I save up enough to get it removed however, then I can pretty much dress as I want.
As for shoes, they are no big deal and I have shopped for woman's shoes many times as male and nobody gives me a strange look. The primary purpose of shoes is to protect your feet and the secondary purpose is to be decorative. I just don't understand why some people see buying shoes as taboo. I can understand buying underwear as embarassing, but not shoes.
It's funny that several of you go around in a bra, when you probably don't even need it, but I almost never wear a bra even though I have breasts. When they get bigger, I don't think it will really make much of a difference if I wear one or not because they won't be easy to ignore. Oh well, maybe that's because I don't need a bra to feel feminine now that I have my "girls".

Also, I used to like the idea of wearing pantyhose, but now, it's just an accessory to wear with skirts. I also haven't worn many skirts lately. I may wear them more now that it's warming up.
Sorry if I offended anybody with this post. I just find it funny how people at different places on the transgender scale see clothes differently.
