Hi Liza,

I'm not the official greeter here, but I can tell you that you'll be welcomed with open arms. I'm new here too. I just joined 3 or 4 days ago. This is the very best site for people like us...at least in my opinion. It usually doesn't take anyone long to start answering any questions you have.

A bit about me. I just turned 50, and have decided to embrace the real me that's been hiding inside for so long. I'm MTF and trying to start the process of HRT. I'm not out publicly yet...just on here. The other ladies have been soooo helpful and welcoming to me. This is truly the very first place I've ever felt I could be my real self.

If my dreams could suddenly come true over night, I would start HRT, then have FFS, then finally SRS as soon as humanly possible. In fact if I could go to sleep tonight and wake up complete in the morning that would be great. lol

The reason I'm not out yet is because I have a teenage daughter and I don't want to hang this on her while she's still in school. You can imagine how mean kids are nowadays and I don't want her to have to go through anything like that. She's already had to change schools once because she was being bullied so bad, so her welfare is my top priority.

Another reason I haven't come out yet is because I don't think there's EVER a way I'll be able to pass. I'm pretty much a giant (6'4"). Who knows though maybe the FFS will work wonders. Only time will tell.

Anyway that's me. One of the moderators will probably invite you to write out an introduction tomorrow. They did for me at least. Hope you're doing well. TTYL

I am old here. 

I first started lurking around Susan's Place about 10 or 12 years ago. Then I joined and introduced myself.

I am now post op and I feel a need to give back to the community that has helped me so much. While many of the comments here are based on personal experience, we have a few medical professionals here as well. I am a  retired Pharmacist and I will often answer questions about hormone therapy.

Please read the Terms of Service. There are a few rules that are necessary to keep the quality of this forum where it needs to be.

Dear Liza:
     I am so very glad that you have become a member here and this is your very first posting.   I am happy to see that you found the Susan's Place Forums.   
     I hope that you will feel so led to compose another posting here on this thread to tell up more about yourself.

     I am not intending to sidetrack your posting and conversation on this thread, but FIRST THINGS FIRST...  I need to Officially Greet you and give you information about Susan's Place and the Forums.
