My secret handshake thread got more of a response than I anticipated and one overwhelming theme was that folk felt isolated or alone.  They felt like there was no one around that could relate to their struggles.  I'd like to see how many are willing to share what state or province they live in and for the adventurous ones maybe even the city or county.  I believe it would be cool for us to really see how many are near us.  I will start off:

I live in North Port Florida.

I'm an hour north of Seattle.

I live very close to Kentucky

I split my time between the left side and the middle of misery.

(or as the locals call it: missuruh, because mispronouncing words really is the state pastime)

Northern Alabama, but a fairly tolerant southern city.

I live outside of Fort Myers, FL

Adelaide, South Australia.

The other side of the world and go south, stop before you hit Antartica.

An hour and a half out of Melbourne, Australia, even closer to Antarctica Cindy!
