Mytransition8

Hey all I am new and wanted to say hello. I am in my 30's and live alone. I am learning all I can about my body so I can perform top surgery on myself as I have to travel out of state to get surgery and my state is one of the few that excludes trans people from healthcare that have medicaid. My therapist knows and is okay with it and I am excited to do it soon. I have no friend and family so I cannot do a gofundme. I am looking forward to not overheating and vomiting all the time :)

Hello, as a professional who made her living with all kinds of surgical procedures, I just wonder what therapist you have who would support this kind of self mutilation.
Mastectomy is not a child's game wich can be done with a kitchen knife.  A mastectomy creates a very large surface wound with lot's of bleeding.  I have my doubts if anybody would like to undergo such a surgery without general anesthesia!  How do you plan to prevent deadly wound infections?  How do you plan to prevent bleeding to death?  How do you plan to properly close the large wound?
I would not even dream about doing something like this to my body, and I bet that I have better surgical knowledge and experience than you do!
I think you and your therapist are candidates for a psychologist, because I have the feeling both of you need professional help very fast!
