Hi Danielle.
I bought a pedometer from Walmart and am using it to count how many steps I take each day. The average heavy person takes 4000 steps a day and an average thin person takes 6000+. My plan is to do 10,000 a day. It is exercise but its not grueling. Its just walking. If you were to walk an hour a day that weight would fly off. I got the idea from an english guy (Paul Mckenna) on TV "I can make you thin".
http://tlc.discovery.com/tv/make-you-thin/make-you-thin.htmlHe has 4 golden rules..
1. When You Are Hungry, Eat
2. Eat What You Want, Not What You Think You Should
3. Eat Consciously And Enjoy Every Mouthful
4. When You Think You Are Full, Stop Eating
And walk.....just walk. Number 3 is the most important rule. Most people will eat everything in front of them, but if they eat slowly, chew slowly they can only eat about 1/2. Its really weird. It does work....I've tried it and now I do it every time I eat. I'll take a bite, put my fork down, chew 20 times, take a sip of water then take another bite. This allows your stomach and brain to sync up and say when you are full.
