Does anyone know what specific blood tests are usually run before starting T?

hmm... good question.  I think i remember them saying something about blood count levels 'cause T increases those and that can be a problem.  Probably cholesterol too.  Hormone levels.  I don't know what else *shrug*

CBC, liver function, hormone levels.

That would be the basics.  There may be more depending on what the doctor wants to see.  Also it may be slightly different for a FTM.  I'm just talking about the tests I went through.

The ones that seem to matter are testosterone levels, oestrogen levels, cholesterol and liver function but they do occasionally do fasting blood sugar levels. There are loads of other results on the list from the clinic but the ones above are the ones they seem to concentrate on.
