Last evening, Saturday, my sweetie and I went to a seafood place.  We had a real nice assortment of seafood.  I tried some of hers and she tried some of mine.  All in all, we had shrimp of several cooked styles, each a lobster tail, salad, potatoes, and some really tasty and big scallops.  Later, she provided a memorable dessert and we were in front of her warm fireplace.

This evening I made a grilled cheese sandwich.  However I made it with Swiss cheese.

Well for the last 3 days some very nice 3 course meals at the hotel, it "only" has a 3 star rating but its the best food we have had on our coach trips. All waitress service as well. Forgot to take stuff out of the freezer before I went away so bought some "posh" Ravioli and some pesto, bit of steamed broccoli with it made a tasty dinner.

Beef brisket in the slow cooker. I cut the brisket against the grain into thin slices and line the bottom of the ceramic pot. Add a little water and top the brisket with a layer of BBQ sauce.  Cook all day at the low setting or about 190 degrees..

Yesterday I thawed some chili made last year.

I probably should do a short term fast again of a few days.
Trouble is I have some friends who enjoy eating and it is hard not to eat with others who are eating around you.  So I may do some 22-24 hour fasts.  Those are usually so easy. Just eat dinner then do not eat until dinner the next day. 

All you miss are a breakfast, lunch, and snacks.  You do not even miss one dinner!
