microwaving milk is a sin, I believe
at least to the church of england
it heats up unevenly and rarely gets to the right temp
therefore they developed the tools to get around it (typical)

I've never really felt the milk get unevenly heated but maybe it is worse, I've just never tried it in the kettle.

For me, it's Starbucks coffee. The best caffinated beverage. I even ask for extra cream packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.

One time I asked for cream packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly Starbucks worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".

Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local Starbucks cafè, I go there at least 3 times a week for morning coffee or a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once in the evening when I'm in a rush but want a great coffee that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily caffeine needs.

I even drink my coffee in the middle of a hot summer afternoon, it's delicious! What a great cafè.

I worked at Starbucks for a few years (for surgery reasons) and I always loved giving my favorite customers fun names! It's really rare that people who get coffee from Starbucks are nice and treat us (the baristas) like people. tbh I wish I still drank coffee
I was a regular at my local coffee shop and I miss talking to them in the morning
I also miss getting my giant cold brews every morning

I miss working in coffee tbh, being able to help people's day be better was nice. Talking to the regulars I liked every morning was phenomenal!
