The key is not to focus solely on winning or losing, but on the opportunity to learn regardless of whether you win or lose.

The idea of winning or losing becomes a driving force that pushes us to give our best and achieve greatness. It provides a distinction between success and failure, pushing us individuals to strive for excellence and prompts us to ponder the intrinsic value of the competition itself.

I don't have to decide, I already know.  'Batter up' is a baseball term and is used by an umpire to invite the next batter to the batter's box, especially at the beginning of a half inning.
