Have you ever worn a dress that was too long or too short, and that caused an issue while out?  I suppose you could ask the same question of skirts.
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

The skirt was too loose so it became too long as it sank down my legs.

Fortunately I was at home.  A belt helped but it had too much material as the waistline elastic was broken or stretched.  The skirt received a new home.

Well, yes. Both gave similar fears or showing too much.  The short skirt by hiking up and the long skirt by stepping on it and cause it to fall down (or me down)
I left the door open, only a few came through. such is my life.

When you're 6' 1" (185.4cm) tall, few dress are too long, but too short is quite common!

Yes, same.   :icon_inyourface:   Unfortunately, I was out walking downtown at the time.  I caught it before it revealed too much.  The skirt received a drawstring modification shortly thereafter.

I am glad you were able to handle that situation in time!
