Dr. Diane Watson, an Ottawa psychiatrist who treats members of the city's transgender community, says cross-dressers have to deal with gray areas transsexuals do not.

"The ones at the far end of the spectrum know who they are," she said. "It's a very different process to go through, changing the body so it matches the brain. But the people I think who really struggle the most are those that are in the middle."

I wonder when people are going to get over this thing about clothes. It's only clothes. Back in the 50's the women started wearing pants and society said that was wrong. Women, today, dress in clothes that look very much male and they pull it off. Are they crossdressers, NO, they are very much women who like the look of the clothes and the style. They even have it in fashion now. Now, when is it going to be a turn around and males can look as feminine as they want and not have to be called names.
