Hi Everyone

What made me happy was not just replying to a member on Susan's, going for a swim in the afternoon or have an evening meal with my brother and his wife.  It was a memory brought on by a posting by Louis, where she says and I quote:

Quote from: Louis on October 27, 2024, 05:03:22 PMMy thoughts are clearer today that yesterday. I am new to finding myself. My first step was to discover that my brain's gender is female. Things are started to come together. As the sun warms me sitting at the computer typing this my insides feel warm with thoughts of using a prefix of Ms on my name....  Silly little things can be great things.

I loved reading all the posts... breasts will be a part of my future and it's exciting to imagine.

Many hugs,
Louis

Before I changed my life around and I had to fill  in a form I would hover over the gender box marked female for a while, saying to myself I wanted to check that box, never asking myself why?  However, realisation settled in and reluctantly I would check the other box with a heavy sigh of relief.

Finally when I changed my life around and I had to fill in any form, there was never any hesitation on my part as to which title or gender box I would tick or fill in.  Now these days when I fill in any form occasionally I will have a smile from ear to ear.  Now that's satisfaction.

Yes Louis, "Silly little things can be great things."

Best Wishes Always

Finding out I have my summer job at a towing yard still. This is when the school year is over. I am a supervisor there and do security as well. New owner and he is a great guy. Seen my record there, I take no crap from anyone and no one messes with me.

Dear Nikki:
I am glad to read that you will have your summer job at the towing yard after the school year ends.

About not taking crap from anyone there... at the "towing yard" be sure to carry a big Tire Iron with you, that will
help solve a lot of problems with the difficult people that get in your face.

Thank you for sharing your good news.

I have dealt with the irate customers, one was with a lady that had her car towed for no registration and plates ordered by the cops. Was a traffic stop. Wanted it back not showing insurance and went after the owner's wife. I grabbed her from the back and a co worker opened the door so I could throw her out. Threw her out and his wife was glad I was there. She came back going after me with a pipe and got a surprise. I was armed with my Kimber .45 and pulled it on her. Luckily I showed the cop that I have a concealed weapons permit and saw I was in the right protecting myself. She went to jail charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Now my co workers and husband say I am like this woman in this glock commercial with the late R Le Ermey in it

Just watched "The First Omen" movie for Halloween with my GF. It is a good movie. Clearly influenced by one of my favourite TV shows right now, "Servant". Has the same lead actress, playing basically the same role. Very good, very creepy movie. There's something about religious horror, and nuns especially, that elevate it somehow. ;D

Winning best Halloween costume twice yesterday. One was at work and at party my husband's friend had last night. I was dressed as Liv Moore, the tv show character on I Zombie. Students got me to go to work dressed in a Halloween costume

On the first of each month, I do a weight and measures check. I also do it on days when I have labs drawn. That helps me record my progress and correlate that to my hormone levels.

Since switching to injectable estradiol in August, my hormone levels have been spot on target.

Since August 1st, my weight has not changed, not even by one pound.
My bustline has increased by one inch (0.5 inch since Oct 1).
My underbust and waist have remained unchanged since August 1.
My hips have gained one inch since August 1 (0.5 inch since Oct 1).

Can you spell  F  A  T    R  E  D  I  S  T  R  I  B  U  T  I  O  N  ?

Since my hormone levels have been all over the place for the past four years, with gains mostly associated with weight gain, and reductions with weight loss, I am convinced that maintaining the proper hormone levels consistently over time is crucial. Progesterone taken three times a day and not once at night is also critical.

But anyway... HAPPY DANCE!  :eusa_dance:  :icon_dance:  :icon_geekdance:  :icon_joy:

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Quote from: ChrissyRyan on October 12, 2024, 11:36:48 AMWas able to help an old lady for a couple of hours this morning.
She had a bunch of leaves, walnuts, acorns, and sticks in her yard.

I was able to get a lot of it in her trash tote and more in some thick plastic bags for disposal.  Another volunteer will come over this weekend to do some inside cleaning and put the trash tote (and take the two bags away) on the street for her Monday morning trash pickup.

She said I was pretty strong for a woman and had the energy she wish she still had.
I said I was not really strong and that all this took was a lot of bending down, raking, and busting up the larger sticks.

Chrissy

I went back and did more raking to help her out.  Many more leaves fell.

Mom and I had our time together doing a little shopping and our nails done. I bought a couple new dresses, a halter top and a strapless version. Mom bought herself a new dress as well. The nail salon we went to, they were friendly to us. Plus one customer's 10 year old daughter and I got a picture taken together by her mom. Found out this girl is transgender and told her I am a transsexual that has been through what she has been through. Thought it was cool and it made her day, Mom was glad to see this

My sweetie liked my recently acquired floral skirt I wore last evening.  I know, that is not a big deal but it feels good that she thinks that way and she let me know.  She is so nice.

After dinner last night we went to her place and she provided a delicious dessert.  She also thought that the nightgown she gave me last month looked nice on me last night.

So I am a happy thinking about all of that.

Reading about happy things that happened to other members made me feel happy.

A great weekend that went well. First, did tag a deer Friday afternoon going out deer hunting. Got another one this morning and my husband is glad we have venison that will be going in the freezer. I did also judge a local pageant for transgender women Friday and Saturday night which went well. Seen a young lady whom was like me win it and her parents were happy to see her win. Said she went through a lot in her life like mine went through getting a picture taken with them. Her name is Leah, a 23 year old pre op mtf transsexual which she did decide not to have the GRS. Her boyfriend was there for support as well whom loves and accepts her, told her congratulations

Having a fellow transgender student come forward me for advice, she is a pre op mtf transsexual and asked me about the GRS which will be discussed with her in January. Her dad is forcing her to have it and mom is letting her make the decision with her support. She turns 18 on the 24th and wanted my advice which I gave her weighing it out. I told her that her dad does not realize it is her body and choice, not his choice to make

Had a fun time with a couple nieces of mine on Saturday, got our nails done together. They love doing this with me. Looking towards to getting a new hairstyle, a bob cut and also doing something good. I am donating the cut off hair to a good friend of mine, she makes wigs for girls that are going through cancer treatments or have alopecia. She is going to be there to collect it

Lori Dee

I cut mine back in 2000. I mailed a twelve-inch-long ponytail to Locks of Love. They do the same thing for kids with alopecia or undergoing chemotherapy.

A couple of weeks later, they sent me a postcard saying thank you. It was adorable because it looked like a kid had written it and doodled on it, but it was a printed card. I still have it somewhere.

I think donating hair is a great thing. Thank you for that.
