I was just wondering what everyone's favorite hair accessory is?

For me it's a clip that has black and white bows on it (one bow is lace) and fake pearls.  When I put it high up in my hair it helps feminize my hair a face.

Mine are the Scrunchy hair ties. I don't often wear a ponytail, except when it's windy, but when I do I wear them. I like that they are covered in cloth so don't pull hair when you take them out, and they are washable. I picked up a four-pack of them for just a few dollars.

I like some headbands and clips.

I've got a few, however with my fine hair, my hair slips out of it, even if I put some dry shampoo or hairspray on my hair.  The clips I can put the shampoo and hairspray directly on the clip and that helps to hold on better.

Well, for someone who isn't particularly fond of pony tails or very 'girly'..  I do have a couple of favourite hair 'bobbles' (elasticy fabric things to make pony tails with) and they both have 2 ribbons of fabric coming out of them, so I pull the sides of my hair to the back, make a small pony tail leaving the bulk of my hair down behind my ears and the bobble holds it all together and looks pretty with its bow like appearance. I do it when I want my hair out of my eyes and have to look presentable.. Otherwise I have been known to use a cable tie to do a quick pony tail when working in the lab!

I like my barrettes too.

I wasn't thinking of hair extensions as a hair accessory when I originally created this thread.  By hair accessories I was more or less thinking of like barrettes and scrunchies or hair bands, etc.  However I guess extensions could be considered as an accessory, since aside from the clip I mentioned previously, I like getting hair tinsel extensions in my hair.

A few weeks ago I got a new pinkish iridescent/holographic scrunchie that I've been wearing.  Anyway, today one of my coworkers complimented me on how well the scrunchie coordinated with the top I was wearing. 

I like to put a pretty bow in my hair some days.
