Hello MeganMy name is
Sarah and I would also like to formally, Welcome you to Susan's Place!
I see that other members of Susan's have also welcomed you as well.
First of all, I just want to say that I really like your name, it has a warmth to it. I want you to know that you're not alone in how you feel and many of us here at Susan's have walked similar paths. Whether you are just beginning to explore these feelings or have been carrying them for years, we are here to support you. Many members have those same fears and doubts. It's okay to take things one step at a time.
At Susan's, we want to help you find your way forward, whether it's talking through your thoughts, offering support as you explore your identity, or simply letting you know that you are accepted and understood.
If you're uncertain about whether you have gender dysphoria, it might be helpful to talk to a therapist. A professional who specializes in transgender care and informed consent can help you to explore your feelings and guide you through this process.
Whether you choose the private route (which might be quicker) or go through the NHS. These feelings you have seem to be getting stronger. They will not go away unless you do something about them. Whatever you decide to do, ultimately, the decision is yours and we respect whatever you choose, is always up to you.
You deserve to feel at peace with yourself and together, we can figure out how to make that happen.
Once you feel comfortable here, it would be appreciated if you add a little bit more about yourself in the other forums and threads. I would appreciate it very much as, I'm always interested in learning something new about new members
In addition members of Susan's will more than likely will discuss problems or issues that are similar to yours as most have experienced these issues as well.
Take care and all the best for the future.
Once again, Welcome to Susan's Place!Best Wishes AlwaysSarah BGlobal Moderator@Devlyn @Jessica_Rose @Mariah @Northern Star Girl @Lori Dee @MeganStephens
