Do you enjoy wearing boots?

If so, what is it about them that you enjoy?  Height, material, craftsmanship of them, overall looks on you, etc.?

Chrissy
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

I own six pairs of boots and two pairs of tennis shoes.

Of the boots, two are more functional: 1 pair of snow boots and 1 pair of thick leather hiking boots. I wear them when mining or rock hounding to protect my feet.

The other boots are all "cosmetic" as they are different materials: leather, suede, etc. Different heights from ankle boots with a heel to knee-high with a low heel.

I love wearing them. My problem is usually deciding which ones I want to wear with a chosen outfit.

<------ knee-high black leather, of course.

I live in Canada, so this time of year, boots are a necessity, not an option.  My regular everyday boots are ankle-high.  I have some that are mid-calf length, and a pair that is fleece-lined for really cold weather.  Then I have some hiking boots and an insulated pair for bitterly-cold weather.

I have found that some similar boots to some brand name boots are a relative bargain.

I am not mentioning brand names because I do not know if we can do that, and it is not necessary to make my point.

Yes. Even though my legs don't work, I love wearing boots. I don't even know what it is. Knee high... I have loads of them. From before. I even have thigh high boots, although I can't get them on without help. I dunno. I just find them very nice. Practically it makes no difference to my life, but it does make me feel... attractive, I dunno. Is that weird? Probably.

I like the knee-highs because they hide my bow legs. I was born with a mild case of Blount's Disease and "pigeon-toed" with feet turned in. My first walking shoes had leg braces (like Forrest Gump) and that straightened my feet, but not my legs. With my ankles together, my knees do not touch. There is a visible curve to my shins from the knee to the ankle. This becomes very obvious in skinny jeans or other tight pants. The boots hide the bowing and make my legs look great. Not quite "ready for a skirt" great, but great.  ;D

It is important to have comfortable footwear and good feet.
Your feet take quite the compressive force load.

Yes! I was born with boots on...😊. I have work/hiking type boots with composite toe for work and Dingo type for riding and  pair of ankle boots with zipper on the side. I have to wear nylon type socks with those..

I used to have a pair of over the calf boots with zipper on the side and a suede miniskirt with roses on it and I purged 20 years ago and that all went.. 😞 I miss the skirt and boots but I looked absolutely awful.

The only pair I have that are not women's are the ones I wear on the bike.

Even computers like boots; rebooting is often good for them.
