Hi Emma!

Do you pay that congestion pricing for cars in certain areas of Manhattan?
True there are public transit alternatives but I would be scared to use the subway myself because of recent news reports.

You guys are the best!

Thank you again Lori for the boost.

Chrissy I have been taking the subway almost every school/work day since 1970.  It is fine. You need a little street smarts but no more than most cities. I would never drive to work in Manhattan ever.

Jess great video!  I love P!nk!

Thinking you look like a nun... Emma, please don't get into that habit! ;)

You know I think you're gorgeous. <3 I will once again ask you to drop the silver hair though, it doesn't suit you. In my opinion. I hate all forms of chocolate, other than when you have that as your hair colour. :)

I agree Sephirah.  The grey is dramatic but it doesn't feel right.

Emma,

You will find the hair style and color that you will believe looks great on you.
Then you will find another that may supersede that!  There are so many options!

By the way, have you been to Katz's Deli?
There are probably many good delis in NYC.

Absolutely. I went to high school three blocks away and taught literally around the corner.  Best hot dogs and pastrami in the city.  Nathans hot dogs are second.

I noticed hot dogs close to the Empire State Building were a dollar higher than just one block further away.  I mentioned that to the vendor and he matched the lower price.  These were sidewalk based hot dog carts.

Did you eat at "that" table in the deli (a sign points to it) where a Sally had her turkey sandwich?  I wonder how often they are asked what Sally had to eat that day, as some may want to order the same thing to follow along that movie's ("When Harry Met Sally") story line. Nobody probably cares what Harry ate.

I also heard that the pandemic area dining tables at NYC sidewalks streetside now are being or maybe already have been moved.

They removed the street based table sheds that were in place for the pandemic.  Some of them became an eyesore and some killed off parking.  The city is looking into a better solution for the summer.  The restaurants will pay rent for the space.

I do not recommend the street hot dogs, ever.  Most van food it fine but the hot dogs can sit in the water over night.  A trip to Coney Island could be fun.  The original Nathans is there and always an experience.  The Nathans French fries are one of the best.  If you can get the Nathan hot dogs at the supermarket, they are close.

I always felt uncomfortable about the "Sally" table.  It is always popular with women...I wonder why????

Maybe one day I will visit NYC again, one never knows.  There sure are a lot of places to eat there.

The Sally table is likely just a fun thing for the romcom lovers that saw that movie.  Perhaps those women who seek out the Sally table relate to what she says during the Deli scene?
