Quote from: ChrissyRyan on January 18, 2025, 07:14:32 PMI think hot dogs should be eaten only occasionally, as they can have up to 30% fat and a lot of sodium.

Quote from: Emma1017 on January 19, 2025, 03:24:06 PMOtherwise the sawdust would go into making toilet paper...We'll probably find out that they are really good for us after all. If not, they are still great!
Quote from: Emma1017 on January 22, 2025, 05:21:28 AMReally well Chrissy. It's not perfect but as close as I need. Some of the students are starting to initiate conversations with me. That shows that they are starting to trust me. That means a lot to me. I can't tell them I am transgender because my wife is afraid that they might share it in social media that might cross over to our friends and family. The internet is a small world. I did tell two teachers who I have become friends with and trust to keep my secret. It is nice to have friends who know. It takes a little weight off my shoulders.

Quote from: Emma1017 on January 22, 2025, 08:38:10 PMThat I am walking a fine line between living cisgender and being transgender?
Quote from: Emma1017 on January 26, 2025, 09:27:50 AMLike everyone else, I am working through bouts of sadness tinged with a little bit of fear but as my dad taught me as a child: "Never let the bastards win." or as Captain Jason Nesmith of the star ship Galaxy Quest said: "Never give up. Never surrender." I will prepare for the worst, hope for the best, and stay transgender strong.
Quote from: HappyMoni on March 19, 2019, 08:24:50 PMTRigger warning possibleEmma and Gina, To some extent my perspective has moved on from where you find yourself now. That certainly is a good thing. Healing from this dysphoria is possible taking the steps we need to take. Last night, I watched the movie, Girl. At the end of that movie, there is a very disturbing example of the desperation that being trans can induce. I won't spoil it by saying the ending. Suddenly, I found many old emotions bubbling up that had gone dormant. My partner and I both were a mess. She has been through this as much as I have. I will just say that that reminder brought home for me what you two are dealing with now. My heart goes out to you. I wish you both the strength and patience that you will need. Hugs!MoniCan't get that out of my head all day.
