Otherwise the sawdust would go into making toilet paper...

We'll probably find out that they are really good for us after all. If not, they are still great!

YUK!
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Just eat them occasionally!

I have been liking some Polish sausage and of course, Kielbasa.

Pretty sure it's worse than that.

On the upside, it answers the question of "Do pigs have eyelids?"

;D

Although I cannot talk. A British delicacy is pickled pig's feet. Not even kidding. A lot of Europe, honestly. Nothing goes to waste :D

And before you say "Eww!", most of this stuff comes from WW2. Before the US woke up and realised there was a war going on, we had to eat this stuff. A lot stuck around! Some very old people still eat it today!

Really well Chrissy. It's not perfect but as close as I need. Some of the students are starting to initiate conversations with me. That shows that they are starting to trust me. That means a lot to me.

I can't tell them I am transgender because my wife is afraid that they might share it in social media that might cross over to our friends and family. The internet is a small world.

I did tell two teachers who I have become friends with and trust to keep my secret. It is nice to have friends who know. It takes a little weight off my shoulders.

At times we must make thoughtful, balanced decisions as to what may be the best thing to do or not to do, because of something related to us being transgender.

Does that clarification help Emma?

This sounds very challenging but you seem to be handling it.  That is a compliment.

Like everyone else, I am working through bouts of sadness tinged with a little bit of fear but as my dad taught me as a child: "Never let the bastards win."

or as Captain Jason Nesmith of the star ship Galaxy Quest said: "Never give up.  Never surrender."

I will prepare for the worst, hope for the best, and stay transgender strong.

Myranda

Quote from: HappyMoni on March 19, 2019, 08:24:50 PMTRigger warning possible

Emma and Gina,

To some extent my perspective has moved on from where you find yourself now. That certainly is a good thing. Healing from this dysphoria is possible taking the steps we need to take. Last night, I watched the movie, Girl. At the end of that movie, there is a very disturbing example of the desperation that being trans can induce. I won't spoil it by saying the ending. Suddenly, I found many old emotions bubbling up that had gone dormant. My partner and I both were a mess. She has been through this as much as I have. I will just say that that reminder brought home for me what you two are dealing with now. My heart goes out to you. I wish you both the strength and patience that you will need. Hugs!
Moni
Can't get that out of my head all day.

Is that this movie? Netflix: Girl

Emma1017

Yes, Myranda but be aware that the ending is a bit extreme and emotional.  Make sure you are in the right mood to watch it.

"Just Charlie" is another teenage transgender movie that I like. ().

Both capture the pain and joy of being transgender and neither have tragic endings.
