Okay, no one's admitting to anything, lol
I'll go, I think my wife spend about $50-$80 per month on makeup. Just a rough estimate.

I think it is circumstantial. When I started experimenting and learning to do makeup, I spent about that much money trying different things, from foundations and coverups to various shades of nail polish and lipstick.

Over the years, I have found what works for me and what doesn't, so I don't buy many things anymore. I have my favorite nail polish, lipstick, and shadow palette, so I typically wear the same colors. The money I spend is less on makeup and more on skin care: exfoliants, moisturizers, toners, etc.

Another consideration is the season. I don't go out much in winter, in fact, hardly at all. In the summer, I am prospecting in the forest, and makeup is a no-no. Many cosmetic products smell nice but attract insects. Besides, the forest creatures don't care how I look, so I don't wear it when I am mining. That leaves Spring and Fall, when I am out more often, but not necessarily in the forest, so I think I wear makeup more often during those seasons.

So $50 - $80 per month is about right; it just isn't every month.

When I first transitioned I spent alot on pretty much everything. I spent money on mascara, eyeshadow, and lipstick. Sometimes I even spent it on blush (rouge) too.

These days I am alot more natural. I either just wear chapstick or some lip gloss. I got a liquid lip smacker party pack at Walmart last week, lol.

Okay, I'll play... I like my makeup and I use it on the daily. Maybe not every weekend, but just about every weekday I wear it, as I wear it to work. During my summer time off I don't wear it nearly as much, but I will often still put on mascara and darken my brows. Yes, even when I go out boating, it's just waterproof mascara then.....

So, I wear it..... the brands I use..... mostly MAC, Urban Decay, Clinique, Anastasia, Becca......

How much is spent monthly...... hmmm..... tough call..... maybe $100? That's tough though in that most of what I have I don't have to replace all that often. My blush lasts for years, same with my eyeshadows, yes I know that makeup has a shelf life. I only kind of pay attention to that with my mascara.

On the monthly I really only have to replace my foundation and my finishing powder. Blush costs $60, which is crazy but I only replace it maybe every year or two. Oh lipstick I like to change so maybe I'll buy a new MAC color once every month or two.

Hmmm..... so maybe $100-200 per month. Close enough!

Faith

I have a lipstick palette and also a mascara palette. I use them sparingly so I've had them for a few years. I suppose that I'll have to replace them if they dry up. I'm very certain that I would spend a lot more if I had facial whisker shadow to deal with. As it is, I am all gray and it hides well. A smooth shave and no one sees or feels whiskers. Electrolysis is a slow process, I'm pooling my money for other ventures.
I left the door open, only a few came through. such is my life.
