"Excerpt: Equality Florida, a St. Petersburg-based group advocating for
the rights of gay and transgendered people statewide, has been pushing
for the addition of specific categories by which students would be
protected under the bill. Those would include prohibiting bullying or
harassment on the basis of sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity,
gender identity or expression, and national origin, said Brian
Winfield, communications director for Equality Florida."
