is it one filled with turmoil?

I always had trouble accepting who I am and pretending to be something I'm not at times. I feel I don't have a strong will I feel if I'm confronted about something I might conform to their ideas just to avoid a problem.

I would love to be able to accept myself and have more will power. Also be more independent.

There is always room for improvement, but at this juncture of life I'm quite satisfied with it as it stands.

Actually, I don't have all of my dreams fulfilled just yet, but most are and I seem pretty much content. As for myself, the person I am -- well, yes. I do like her very much. Thanks for asking, Tasha!

Right now whether I like myself depends on what day it is.

I'm very happy with who I am and what I have at the moment, and there isn't anything I would change. There's always going to be some turmoil, so I don't see any point in wishing it was gone.  After all, it's part of the rich tapestry of life!

Bottom line: I wouldn't trade me for anyone...  :P

I'm at the lowest point I've ever been. But I like who I am.

I agree about the turmoil, Tink. I always think that even if I could wish it away, some new and unexpected turmoil would just go and replace the one I'd successfully wished away. So, I agree, why bother.

I like who I am...I just wish there was more, physically, I could change about myself, and not have to spend so money to do so (body contouring for people who've lost a significant amount of weight and need excess skin removed is pretty pricey). I think if I could make the physical aspects to my liking, I'd be more confident, especially around my partner.

Turmoil. I'm working towards being content, but I don't think I'll ever be there. Addressing the GID has made me content within and confortable about who and what I am, but there is still the minor issue of transitioning. Beyond that, the world needs changing. I don't think I could ever sit still and be content in a world where a handful of people use and abuse at will, while much of the rest of the world's population still lives in poverty and despair.

Thats the way I feel too Tink...

I'm not happy with where I am in my transition but I'm so glad to be me
and I'm SO looking forward to the future... I  never felt that way before
starting.

There are times when I'm fine with who/what I am. Today is not one of them. Today I hate myself.

I like being the person I am. Even in times of turmoil, I wouldn't trade it. This is a unique journey.

I love the person that I am. I definitely wouldn't change anything major about myself. I don't have any enemies (that I know of) I treat to treat other people like I want to be treated and I generally the good in life vs. the bad. Since transition, I think I've just been a little bit more myself. You all know how it is :) Meghan
