Hey guys. I was wondering, for those of you already on T, how many shots did you get until you started noticing changes? Which things did you notice first? I just got my second shot last week. I get a shot every other week. I'm really excited to see how my body is gonna change and glad I'm not gonna look like a 12 year old for too much longer! Hahaha.  ::)

The first thing I noticed was more body hair. My sideburns were quick to fill in, but otherwise my facial hair was a slow gain. The rest of my body though... >_>

Also, on a more 'adult' level...my wang grew rather large (according to Dr. Bowers when she saw it) and very quickly.

I wouldn't expect not looking 12 anymore...you'll just look like a 12 year old boy is all. I'm 27 and people still take me for being 17/18  (on T for nearly a decade).

Ooh ack, that's discouraging. I was hoping to start looking a little closer to my age in the next few years. I have gone from looking 15 to in my 20's though, which is a help.

First effects I noticed were leg hair and voice. My voice started changing fairly quickly, although didn't have a male timbre for a bit longer. Others noticed my face changing - fat redistributing off it. That was a few months in.

Voice was the first thing to change and it was already as deep as a bio male before I started on T. It's deeper than all the males I work with now and my singing voice has gone to Neil Diamond level with no effort now.

Know what you mean about the age thing though. I'm 38 now and last year was chatting to a woman outside a shop about the new smoking ban and was telling her I was gonna find it difficult at work not smoking. I told her I was on about 40 a day and she looked gobsmacked and said "at your age?" I told her I was 38 and she thought I was only about 20. She had a laugh about it with my girlfriend when she came out of the shop and told her she wished she had a boyfriend who looked that young at my age.

Anyway, sorry about the waffling. The next thing I noticed was the wang thing. Grew a lot in the early days but had slowed down now. My beard and tach hair grew next and sideburns coming on but not as fast as the rest of facial hair. Got a fair bit if hair on stomach now (been on T just over a year) but none on chest. Legs were already very hairy but they have got a lot thicker and longer in the last year.

I'm going on my 4th shot in a couple days. I've always had that "treasure trail" below my belly button, but only had hair UNDER it, now I'm growing in hairs on top too. I noticed my peach fuzz on my face is growing in a lot faster, a few harder whiskers in one spot on my upper lip, nothing noticable though. My voice is slowly getting deeper (already had a deep voice). My leg hairs are growing longer, and filling in. That's about it physically.

Mentally I've noticed my moods changing. I've never been able to multi-task very well, but now I just CAN'T. I was at work today, talking to my co-worker as we always do, and couldn't work, and talk at the same time (I was trying to tell her a story). She was making a bunch of noise, and it made me EXTREMELY irritable  for no apparent reason, not sure if that's common? I've also noticed my balance is a little off, not sure if that's normal either? lol I played hockey for 17 years, and always had pretty good balance. But now I'm clumsy, and keep bumping into things.

I was going into a club with my girlfriend and the bouncers were just letting people who looked old enough go straight in. They let her in (she's 44), said hang on mate to me (I'm 38), stopped me had a really close look at my face and said, "go on". Charming... thinking I look too young then checking out the face close up and realising I look older close up than I look at a glance  ;D

i've been on T for four weeks now and my skin i've noticed has changed.  face getting acne and is definitely not smooth anymore.

That's the only physical thing i've noticed besides gaining about 7/8 pounds.

My voice started lowering within 2 weeks. By 2 months, though, I was complaining to my wife that it wasn't working. My voice was cracking, but everything else seemed exactly the same... and then it all took off at once. My sideburns grew in, my beard went nuts, my stomach became incredibly hairy, and my voice dropped an octave or so... I'm about a baritone now, after 4 months, and it's still changing. I think it all depends on how your body reacts. And while I sympathize with guys who end up looking eternally 12, I went from being carded for rated R movies to not being carded for alcohol anymore, and I'm 25. Now people assume I'm in my early 20s. It's awesome.

Change will come, and you'll love it. Just give it time.
