Ive  been keeping track of all my doctor summaries and notes because I've been pursuing surgery and my FFS/BA is likely going to be this fall or winter

It looks like some physician out of the LA Kaiser gender clinic I've never even seen either went back retroactively or didn't post one of his notes from 10/24 until the last few weeks

I noticed my gender dysphoria diagnosis was removed from my records and I've retroactively been diagnosed with a ghost dx of adjustment disorder with Depressed mood or with emotional disturbance

Why is this happening after being on the waitlist for my surgery date for months ? This will likely make my surgeon uncomfortable to proceed with surgery or my prior authorization to be kicked back

The pysch I saw literally cleared me for both Depression/Anxiety and signed off on my letters agreeing I had significant gender dysphoria

How can a doctor I've never even seen do that? I want that removed from my medical records

Wow! That's tragic, Selene. I hope it's a typo. I hope it gets corrected. I can hardly imagine what you're going through. Please, follow-up when you get clarification. Hugs.

Selene, have you had a chance to reach out to Kaiser to dispute this diagnosis change and formally request that your Gender Dysphoria diagnosis be reinstated?

Hopefully, it's just a clerical or coding error, and not an instance of medical gatekeeping.
