Hello Tracie,
I tried most if not all of the methods for hair removal, but in my case, I had A LOT of hair to take care of (I could literally make braids with the hair in my chest and tummy...now it is all gone)
If you want something quick, razors will do the job. But the effect will not last for long.
Option B are the creams, but be very careful as they are very aggressive with the skin. I burnt myself a couple of times because it would remove part of the hair, but not all.

Wax...the effect is similar to razors, but it is more painful (waxed my whole body when IPL did not exist) and the final feeling is great (the process if painful, both for the person doing the wax and yourself)...but, once again, it lasts longer that razors or creams, but hair eventually comes out.
IPL would be my suggestion if you are sure you want to make it permanent.
My evolution has been as explained...razors to try it out, and loved the silky feeling of the first time. Then to creams and after a couple of burns, went to wax and once IPL became available, there I am.
Now I am very happy with the results.
Good luck
