I had to do a little work under one of the trucks yesterday, so I tied my back then clipped it up and put on a cap. I showed my wife and said, "all I have to do is add the mustache and Greg is back". Here response was, "I don't think so!, the shape of your face is different now."  Of course she was right and I see it but it felt good hearing her say it.

A nice affirmation that is for you Gina!

I had my endo app., of course she wants me to lower my estradiol. I asked her about cycling the E to mimic a cis woman's cycle. "You are not doing that, are you?" Of course I answered NO. Then, I got the a woman of your age has lower E and does not have periods. "Just curious", fingers crossed. Breasts are noticeably bigger and more bouncy even though I am losing weight, albeit it slowly. Went up to a 46" from a 44". I really think there is something to the cycle, resetting the receptors and all that. I have been getting more migraines though. But I feel it is worth the pain.
Off to West Virginia next week. I haven't been there since the closing. The grass is probably up to my knees. I decided to fix the apartment first, so we can move in. Then work on the house, which will take considerably more time. I loaded up my trailer with a load of fence posts and barn doors. Since I'm going I figure I might as well take a load down there.

Gina P

Back from WV. I hate NJ! Drivers are so rude. I forgot just how nice it is to drive in a more relaxed style. After a bit of consideration I gave up on the apartment as there is no water in there and all septic lines are in  concrete. I decided to just start on the house and removed most, 3 tons, of the sheetrock. Original part of the house was built in 1911 and each owner since added on an addition or so it seams. A patch work of electric, plumbing, and framing. All will be brought up to modern standards when Im done. Grass was very thick and tall resulting in a broken belt, not unexpected.

Sounds like you have a lot of work ahead in WV!

I had a house like that. It was in foreclosure, so I got a good deal on it. They didn't add plumbing, except for one bathroom. But every added room and a second floor seemed to have its own fuse box. The basement was just a crawl space, but big enough for the mechanicals. When I saw all the fuse boxes, the retired electrician in me screamed FIRE HAZARD!

I spent a summer rewiring the house to a new circuit breaker panel. Then, I reinsulated the kitchen, put in new drywall, and installed a knotty pine ceiling.

The nice thing about a project like that is that when it is done, you know it was done right and it just feels more like it is yours.

Still working my tail off. Stress levels through the roof. The company buying mine has been dragging their feet with the contract. Employees are feeling it as well. Had a falling out on Friday after they made a stupid mistake costing me $300. Supposed to change hands in 3 weeks and still no contract.
Painted the first room in the old house. Prepped a couple of others, spackling and sanding wood work. It finally stopped raining after a week of wet weather so I am going to focus on getting the driveway ready for stone. I found a place that sells ground concrete very cheap. I'll have to hire a dump truck but it will be worth it. 100 tons or more. Driveway is 1/4 mile long.

That is a lot of driveway.

Hope all things work out well for you.

What a busy week. I have the new driveway in. I spread 13 truckloads of stone. Thats roughly 250 tons. Continuing to sell of much of my stuff. The wakeboard boat is sold as is my sail boat. Sold a hay wagon last night. All this work has helped me lose some weight. Yesterday I mowed hay, even though I don't plan on keeping any of it. A neighbor is going to bale it.
Now my wife has a detached retina. surgery is tomorrow. I'm worried for her. When it rains , it pours. 2 more weeks to go till retirement and a lot of work to do before we sell the business.

Gina,

I hope her eye surgery turns out well.
Sounds like your driveway is now usable.

Wife's eye surgery went well. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. Next day it was bleeding out from under the patch. A quick trip back to the surgeon revealed it was the tear ducts not the actual eye. They inserted a gas bubble that puts pressure on the retina to aid in the reattachment process, only problem is she is supposed to keep her head facing down as much as possible. As you can guess that leaves me to do all the cooking, shopping, and housework as well as the business and still trying to find time to get this place ready so sell.
Only 1 week to go till retirement. Unfortunately we have more jobs than days to complete them. The only solution is to work a Sunday. I finally received the contract from the other company buying mine. With 7 business days till closing! There are some things I don't like and need to be changed. It will happen just in its own time.
Stress levels are through the roof as we try to get through this. On a job yesterday and the town officer shows up and posts a 'stop work order'. We were lucky to finish our job without any problems though.
Sold my square hay baler. Now I need to get a round baler for WV. At least i have a year before I need that.

I am glad your wife is coming along with her recovery.

Also good to hear was your job that finished.

Why will you be switching to a round baler?  I think that can bale more than hay (perhaps straw?) but I am not a farmer.

Keep making progress on getting the business sale wrapped up.  The week will go by quickly.

Keep at it busy girl!... One of these days, you'll have time to relax!

Round bales are picked up with the tractor and moved around and stored without needing help. Square bales must be unloaded and stacked in a barn. Very labor intensive. There are some machines that move them but they are quite expensive and the barn must be able to be driven into with the equipment.

Its been 1 year since my bottom surgery! I look at my body and I can't believe that's me. I am so happy with the results. The year has flew by. No regrets at this point.
The sale of my business has been dragging on. My retirement starts on Monday. Sale closing to be ??. Stress levels have been through the roof. I'm sure I will get through it. So much to do right now and I have no energy stressing over the sale of the business.
On other news, cycling my Estrogen and Progesterone to more closely mimic a woman's monthly cycle has had profound effects. My breasts have grown or swelled, and now are a 47" over a 40" band. I find I bump into things with them even my employee received a tap as we passed. Why has no one made this a thing of standard care. My endo says not to do it, so I must lie and say I am not doing it. I also have been loosing some weight so its not weight gain.
