Hello yesterday I met the hairstylist for a consultation. After talking about what I needed, I found out she is a member of our local LGBT community and I have met her at the mixer before. I was in a pretty good mood after that so I stop at Goodwill on the way home and got 3 dresses. Originally I wasn't going that far before but I'm inspired to wear one. Oh I won't get the hairstyle until Thursday next week but it will be in time for Pride in the Park and Drag Bingo. The hairstylist is also a volunteer as well. I will be having pride colors in my hair. It's temporary but it will last for 30 washing so I'd been told.

I decided to inflict another poem on the forum today but couldn't find the topic. As I was digging through related topics, I stumbled across a compliment that had been posted months ago by someone who is no longer here on a thread I had never read (I took being a Newbie quite seriously). I felt as though 'something', and I don't pretend to know what I mean by 'something', but something planned it that way.

Tonight is LGBT movie night mixer. Our local LGBT community is going to watch "But I'm a Cheerleader". I'd be dressing up. I'll wear makeup. I'll wear shorts and a feminine shirt. I won't be doing dresses until later this week. It's a surprise see.

A weekend  with  my sister, her wife and dog. Had a great day out in Liverpool  then a car show on the Sunday and got to meat my nephews baby daughter for the first time.

I have a local business group meeting to attend today, lunch will be served.
These have seemed to go well for me although I was nervous to attend at first.
I do not especially enjoy going; but, I can think of worse situations!  Sometimes there are useful conversations and I do learn some things most of the time.

Did my Miranda Esdmond-White 25 min stretch/workout today.  It is a program on our PBS station that comes on at noon. I feel good every day I complete it. It is on workdays so I try to hit the 5 times a week. If I miss it, I search Youtube for Essentrics with her and I will do one of the workouts. With age it is helping me with arthritis, flexibility, and posture.

Going to my session with the local LGBT group counselor. I'll be wearing a green dress with a pocket bra and silicon breasts. Already put my makeup on. Reason is showing off the dress so they can see what it look like for the volunteer pride events tomorrow and Friday. Tomorrow I'll see a hairstylist who'll put in pride colors in my hair.

Just got back from my session. Lot of positive responses to the dress. I noticed the woeful last of pockets for wallet and phone so I wore a belt pouch.

That's what handbags are for. I don't know how I managed to carry everything in my pockets for so long...

Oh, yeah. I had my wife carry it in her handbag. 

Handbags are nice to have for carrying things.

My week in Ireland has gone well. I met more LGBTQ people that I started a good friendship with, two are pre op MTF transwomen and keeping in touch with them. Seen a teacher I had and my friend Lisa told her I changed which I do not go by my old name anymore. Remembered me all these years and was glad I live a much happier life now calling me Nikki Michelle. Got a picture taken with her too. Went to a pride parade on Tuesday there and that is where I met these new friends of mine. I even got a picture taken with some drag queens and citizens there as well. I come home on Friday.

Continuing to have a good time and then a safe trip home, that would be nice for sure!

I have and found out our 30th school reunion which is in a couple years is being planned right now ahead of time. My friend Lisa's parents whom were my host parents when I was an exchange student, they are planning to come over to visit me in August. Told them my dad is in a nursing home with his heart issues and Alzheimer's now. They both understood,host mom lost her dad to Alzheimer's 3 years ago. Her mom found a clip of a show called world's strictest parents finding one like us in an update episode except I was not in trouble keeping in contact to this day 

Today I'm going to a hairstylist who is going to put pride colors in my hair. I'm going to wear a dress to the Pride in the Park event later this day.

I just got home from the hairstylist. Apparently there's a swirl of pride colors on my left side of my head. The people at the local LGBT organization like it.

I just got home from Pride in the Park event. There was quite a few tables there. Some represent organizations and some were vendors. I and a counselor walked around couple times and handed out water to the vendors. I mean it was hot out there. At least the event was in the shade under the pavilion. With everyone helping it was short work to put stuff up at the end of the day. I'm tired and just had a hot shower. Had to be careful not to wet my hair. Told I can wash it tomorrow.

Day 1 (or T0) on HRT. Still giddy with excitement and can't really sleep.
