Hello all! It's been ages since I've logged on, and looks like my account went missing, so I just re-created it. I'll go and re-enter profile info, but the short of it is I'm a trans woman of 60, out both socially and at work, and have been an ongoing supporter of Susan's Place since 2021. :-)

Anyway, given the Current State of Things here in the US, I wanted to re-connect with fellow trans folks here for conversation, community, and finding & sharing local resources (I'm in the greater Portland OR area).

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Thank you for that wonderful introduction.

If you send an email to Danielle (Northern Star Girl), she can try to locate your old account and old posts if they still exist. Don't post any of your old info here. Send that to Danielle via email. Once she verifies your credentials, she can resurrect your old account.

Please keep in mind when posting that this is an ALL-AGES PUBLIC Forum and the internet never forgets. Do not post anything that you do not want to be made public.
