A few months back, I had the diagnosis of ovarian cyst. That was fun. That seems to be stable for now and no immediate action needs to happen with that. But, I have been experiencing some abdominal discomfort at times along with some other personal difficulties for a few years now and finally decided to take it up with my doctor. Her diagnosis was uterine ligaments that are starting to weaken, and apparently it is not super uncommon in women approaching mid 40s. She scheduled an ultrasound scan to see if some of the things I have been experiencing might be due to uterine prolapse because of the ligaments.

Blah. I know that getting older is a normal part of life, but it hits a little harder when your body is literally starting to fall apart.
