Same, I discovered that my bisexuality, queerness, and attraction patterns became clearer as my gender journey evolves, and I see it as a strength to acknowledge this fluidity.

Best wishes on your journey, Mandy!

Thanks so much Lilis - yes, definitely a strength - and something that can't be repressed for too long, although I tried. Once the genie's out of the bottle it's exciting to experience - for example, although I'm attracted to men and women (and other genders!) and it's definitely sexual, the attraction comes in different 'flavors.'

I found it very helpful to talk to my wife about transitioning.  Setting some ground rules about what you can and can't do will do a lot to relieve the stress on your relationship.  My wife would offer her perspective on what it was like growing up female in California.

You're welcome, Mandy. 💕

Well, from the moment we're born, most of us are told, directly or indirectly, that we have to be one thing, either straight or gay, either a man or a woman.

One gender. One orientation no in between.

And if we don't fit neatly into those boxes, we're labeled as confused, or at least, I was.  ;D

But the truth is, that kind of rigid, binary thinking leaves no room for bisexuality which, by nature, lives in the fluid space between and beyond the binaries.

It isn't confusion, it's complexity, depth, and honesty.
