Hi DJorgensen sweets. thank you for clarifying the androgyn part Ok you mean androgynous as far as your appearance. Like the appearance of neither or both of the genders, hon then I would say you are really lucky that way, you will transition to female much easier. As for the are I will see if I can find the thread where we have been exchanging drawings. Do you like animes and any other type of cartoon animations? I love them, and especially fairies.
Yes there is quite a waiting list to get SRS in Alberta. I believe you have to prove you have lived one year full time as female, on the job as well, actually on the job will be your strongest point before they consider you for SRS. But I believe you will have the sufficient time needed to arrange for all of this to take place. Other then that it appears there shouldn't be to many problems though, since as you say you have been living nearly full time as your fem persona.

Well I do have a number of boyish mannerisms too, and I tend to take the role of the boy in a relationship, so its a tad bit more complex that what can really be put into words on paper...
I do (or at least used to) watch and draw anime/manga. I was really involved with the anime community a few years ago, and would often sell my art at conventions and such. Not nearly as much these days - I still stick to watching the old stuff and tend to draw more realistic work and focus more on photography too. Faeries are cool, though I've always been more fond of the dragons and elves type of thing ^^;
And yes the waiting is horrid here. I am not on HRT as of yet, though I am on T blockers. I had thought HRT should have started by now but apparently I have to wait to be seen by the one approved psych that I was referred to by the GP that I got referred to, so that the psych can refer me to an endo so that I can finally start that. I am more than a bit concerned by the wait. Earlier when I had mentioned about living nearly full time, the GP didn't care for that since its not absolute full time... which is rather disappointing in my opinion (and from my perspective of not having much concern on the pronouns others use for me).
Anyway, thanks for the welcomes everyone, and thank you too Annywnn

I have stopped by here a number of times since about 2001, just never hopped onto the forums~
