Ok so at my local Sephora I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with an absolutely gorgeous trans woman. I legit only knew she was trans bc of the badge she had that said so, which is brave in our part of the Lone Star State, and her makeup looked BOMB. She had such a natural glow, and I've noticed that a lot of trans women have amazing makeup and hair styling skills. As a cis woman I could never(it's Ally btw). And y'all always smell like a freaking snack. What in the world are y'all doing? And I need perfume recs bc my favorite one is out. Do basically I'm just trying to relay that y'all are amazing and absolutely gorgeous!!
Love who you love, do what you want, and live life to the fullest. They're gonna talk about you anyways so might as well make their conversation interesting. Live as yourself, not someone everyone else wants you to be.

I have three perfume recs actually. They are expensive but worth it. I just used Chance Chanel in Eau Fraiche. I love the scent.
My two other recommendations are Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel and Sucre' by Juicy Couture.

I am definitely going to do scent tests now. But first gotta look up where I can find them

I have been lucky shopping in the Dollar Store. The perfume is cheap, and sometimes you find something really lovely. The downside is that when it runs out, you may not find it again.

My cousin taught me a neat trick. Find two scents that you like or are close to what you like and layer them. The two scents combined make a unique scent that is all your own. However, some scents do not mix well and may smell awful, so be prepared.

The nice thing about cheap perfume is that it doesn't cost much to experiment and figure out what you like.  :)

I have never thought to look at the dollar store for perfume. I'll have to look the next time I head over there. Great advice, thanks Lori!!

It is nice to smell lovely.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Sephora makes me twitch. For obvious reasons. :P

But I think it's just embracing something. Many AFAB guys embrace masculinity in a way most AMAB guys don't. And it's vice versa for AMAB girls. It is something to embrace into your identity. It's something you embrace as part of what it means to be you... and something which allows you to express yourself... in a way that people used to it just take for granted. Because it's how the world has brought them up.

When you get to choose to understand something, you understand it far better than someone who has been indoctrinated into that's how their life is supposed to be. The difference is choice. When people choose something, they (usually) make the effort to understand that choice, and what it means.

I never got the chance to talk to you, Ally. As much as I did Adrian. Which I kind of feel is a missed opportunity.

Give my bro a big hug from me okay? And if you ever want to chat, you know where I am, sweetie. <3

Above all... remember: you are beautiful, you are valuable, and you have a shining spark of magnificence within you. Don't let anyone take that from you. Embrace who you are. <3
