No, one knows I used to cross dress, I'm 45 and have kids now and if my wife finds out I could lose them all, I worked for family and would lose my job but lately I just want to get out. I need a weekend away, is there any place in California I can go and be made over and live as a women for a weekend?

Thank you tgirlamg, Carla's is closed but I was hoping for more of a place to stay for 2-3 days private with makeover so I can stay dressed Ang hang with others.

Did you search yet online for transgender friendly businesses, clubs, transformation boutiques, organizations, and support groups?  The groups and organizations also often have a list of businesses such as transformation services that they deem worthy to share information about them.

You may be surprised to see many such venues and some may be close to you.

I see that other members of Susan's have also welcomed you as well.

Thank you for sharing your struggles.  It sounds like you are carrying a lot on your shoulders right now.  You are not alone and it's completely okay to want a space where you can just be yourself for a while.  There are places in California that offer discreet makeover or retreat experiences, just what you are looking for.

I just used various search engines and the following came up.  For example, AnnalieseStyle in Los Angeles provides full makeover weekends in a private setting and Transitions Makeup & Photo in Glendale offers safe, one-on-one styling and presentation support.  If you would prefer a more general retreat experience, Pali Retreats and The Ranch Malibu both welcome LGBTQ+ guests looking for peace and healing.

You deserve a weekend to breathe and feel at peace.

Once you feel comfortable here, it would be appreciated if you add a little bit more about yourself in the other forums and threads.  I would appreciate it very much as, I'm always interested in learning something new about new members.

In addition members of Susan's will more than likely will discuss problems or issues that are similar to yours as most have experienced these issues as well.
