Are you moving or have moved recently?

What made you decide to move?

Why and how did you choose your new location?

There is no need to identify your locations for privacy reasons, of course.

Is your move a self-move for the most part or did you hire a mover?

Do you see your latest move to be a temporary situation or a long term relocation?

Did your housing stay the same, like apartment to apartment, or from house to house, or did it change?

Moving is not typically inexpensive.  It is a good time to get rid of clutter.  Moving has trade offs, sometimes it is needed to stay employed.

Wishing you the best for your move!

I do not think I could move to a location that has a lot of alligators!

They are even in SW Tennessee now.

I'm staying where I am because I have a lot of mature flowering shrubs in my garden.

But I have spent the last year+ getting rid of stuff and decluttering.   As well also making stuff more useable.  I just added a USB extension cable so I can easily plug stuff into the computer hiding behind the monitor.  That is hard--is there a cheap way to make that easy?

Reducing visual clutter. My wife had decorative plates on the wall.  I took them down.
I had a Kitchenaid stand mixer that I used infrequently.  It is now hidden away in a cabinet out of sight.

Yes, I would consider a USB hub, where you have multiple USB-A and USB-C plugs within easy reach and the hub unit plugs into one USB port.  The faster or later the hub is (having a higher USB number rating) the better, although it will not transfer data any faster than the level of the USB port the hub is plugged into.  USB 3.2 is faster than USB 3.1, as an example.

This is not a super cheap way but it is not expensive and gives you more options and convenience to plug multiple things in for charging or data transfer.  A powered hub will likely be a better choice than a passive hub.  Note, that is not an electrical power strip that also has some USB plus to charge devices.

It is good to remove clutter, things can seem to pile up.  Extra countertop space can be helpful to have too, so moving things not used much is a way to regain countertop space.
