Has anyone experienced lower back discomfort being on hrt? I've been experiencing lower back pain the last few days. Could it pelvic tilt, or my body shape changing?

Not likely, but possible. You may have twisted it or lifted something and tweaked it without realizing it. You can do some back stretches to help relieve it. If it doesn't resolve in a few days or gets worse, have it checked out.

Are you drinking enough fluids and staying hydrated? Sometimes, a backache is not in the muscles, but in the kidneys. Staying hydrated keeps them flushed out to prevent kidney stones. Those are extremely painful. If the pain is very bad, get it checked out sooner rather than later.

Either way, HRT is not likely the cause.  :)

I intentionally use pelvic tilt as part of my driver golf swing!

I found that chopping the golf club against the grass causes lower back pain, so I won't be practicing that golf chipping technique. Not enough to need pain killers but enough to know my back was not OK with that.  It is a technique for getting the ball out of high grass as honest golfers traditionally play it as it lies.  But, as we learned in James Bond move Goldfinger, there are golfers who cheat. Sean Connery was a huge golf fan.

I've played nearly two hundred holes of golf in fifteen days.  Walking pushing a cart or carrying a bag.  That requires careful attention to back health.
I found that by playing that much golf I could learn stuff just as fast as I did when I was a teenager!

I get occasional lower back pain, but I have never associated it with HRT.  It started back in my 30s, with a cross-country ski wipeout.  I got it chiropracted back into shape, but it can go out of whack again if I lift something carelessly.

I got a chiropractor to teach me a stretch that I could do unassisted to fix a sacroiliac dislocation, which is what I generally get.  If I throw my back out, doing the stretch for a week will fix it, which is much quicker than letting it heal itself.

While there may be many causes for lower back pain, they can include changes to the muscles and tendons due to HRT. Weakening of these can be associated with Pelvic Tilt (Lordosis) and the diagnostic is height loss. Lordosis is overcome with muscle strengthening exercises prescribed by a physiotherapist.

If you experience lower back pain, by all means see a doctor, but bear in mind that transgender hormone related symptoms are poorly known by general practitioners. If prescribed treatments do not work, get your height checked and seek a practitioner with knowledge of trans specific symptoms.

Hugs,
